Hey everyone, it's been a while
However, work never stopped on Who's Lila. Here's what I have to show:
Neural Network Tuning Helper
I am planning to launch a campaign soon, where I'll be asking people to help me train the neural network! If you'd like to help, stay tuned, details in the video above.
New systems implemented:
Despite moving away from the point-and-click meta, still decided that the game needs an inventory and an announcer. The item system is now much more modular and interchangable.
Dialog system rework:
Reworked the kinda struggling with emotions mechanic(??), now basing it around different difficulty presets. In the vid you can see the easiest interaction against the impossible one (won't be present in the game).
Plot and Visuals:
As of now, I am mainly working on the branching story and new visuals, which, for obvious reasons, I cannot show just yet.
Countless bugfixes and quality of life improvements
Currently all of the planned game mechanics function as expected, with some minor stability issues here and there (continuing to fix them too!). Another thing I did is improve my own developing experience by implementing some custom inspectors in Unity.
